What fat-dissolving injections cost in Bangkok
On 4 November 2026 we read the prices that five Bangkok clinics publish on their own websites, each page updated within the past year. We found no Bangkok hospital publishing a price for these injections. Pages giving only general price ranges were left out:
| Amount | Published prices |
|---|---|
| One syringe | 999 to 2,799 baht a syringe at one clinic, depending on the product. The page does not say how many cc a syringe holds. |
| 5 to 6 cc, for the cheeks or chin | 1,599 baht for 5 cc at one clinic, as a time-limited promotion; 2,000 to 2,800 baht for 6 cc at another, depending on the brand. |
| A 10 cc bottle | 3,200 to 4,500 baht at one clinic and 3,500 to 6,000 baht at another, depending on the brand; 2,999 baht for 10 cc at the promotion clinic. One clinic's fat-dissolving and tightening formula is 8,000 baht a bottle. |
| Packs of syringes | 2,900 baht for 2 syringes up to 13,900 baht for 36 at one clinic, which does not say how many cc a syringe holds. |
| Per area | From 10,000 baht an area at one clinic, with a quote after a free consultation. |
| Body amounts and courses | 9,900 to 28,100 baht for 30 to 90 cc on the body at one clinic, which also sells six-session courses for the face from 9,000 to 28,100 baht. Another sells 50 to 200 cc from 12,999 to 29,999 baht on promotion. |
One clinic warns that very cheap offers may be diluted with saline, or may use fake products.
How much solution, and how many sessions
Clinics set the amount by the area and how much fat there is. One clinic starts at 6 cc a session for both cheeks and 6 cc under the chin, and uses 20 to 40 cc on the arms, belly or hips and from 40 cc on the legs. Another uses 10 to 20 cc on the face and 20 to 45 cc on larger areas. Two clinics say a bottle holds 10 cc.
Clinics advise three to six sessions, more where there is more fat: one clinic usually gives a session every week, another every one to two weeks, a third every two to four weeks. Two clinics say each session reduces the fat by about 10 to 20 percent. Clinics say change starts to show after about a week, and is clearer at two to four weeks.
How long it lasts: the clinics disagree
Two clinics say the treated fat cells are destroyed for good, though new fat can form if you gain weight. Two others say results last about two to three months, or two to four. A fifth says the fat will come back if you do not control what you eat.
The same clinic's doctor recommends liposuction rather than injections for the belly, thighs and arms, and under the chin.
Swelling, aftercare, and who should not have it
Clinics say swelling settles within a few hours with some products and up to a week with others, and that most people go back to normal activities the same day. One clinic uses a cold compress, and a numbing patch if wanted; another applies numbing cream. One advises no sauna or laser for a week; another no sauna, alcohol or hard exercise for 48 hours.
One clinic says the injections are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with autoimmune, liver or kidney disease, or with a skin infection in the area. Clinics warn against solutions bought online or mixed by unlicensed injectors, which can contain steroids. One says genuine products are sold only to doctors, and that the product should be registered with the Thai FDA with a lot number you can check.
Check who treats you
Only a doctor registered and licensed by the Medical Council of Thailand may practise medicine (Medical Profession Act 1982, section 26). Three of the clinics say a doctor gives the injections. Ask for the name of the doctor who will treat you, and check it on the Medical Council's website by searching their first name and surname, in Thai or in English. It lists only licensed doctors. If you find nothing, the Council answers on 02-590-1887.
No one may present themselves as skilled in a field of medicine unless they hold the Medical Council's certificate for it, or one the Council recognises, or meet criteria set in the Council's regulations (section 28).
What to ask before you pay
- Which product is it, and can I see the bottle and its lot number?
- Is it registered with the Thai FDA?
- How many cc will I get, and how many cc are in a syringe?
- How many sessions do you advise, how far apart, and what is the total?
- What is the doctor's full name?
