Cupid's bow lip surgery is a short operation under local anaesthetic, offered by clinics in Bangkok: the lip is trimmed into a curved, M-shaped bow and stitched on the inside.
Clinics price the upper lip, the lower lip and both lips separately, and many advertise promotional prices. Ask for the price of exactly what you are having.

Cupid's bow lip surgery (ปากกระจับ in Thai) trims tissue from the lip to give the upper lip an M-shaped curve in the middle, and makes a full lip thinner. It is done under local anaesthetic, with the stitches hidden on the inside of the lip.
It is popular in Thailand for lips that are thick, straight or turned down. Removing tissue is permanent, and clinics say it is hard to correct afterwards.

The same procedure name covers different operations. These are the approaches a clinic will offer, and what separates them.
The most common: the upper lip is trimmed into a cupid's bow.
Both lips in one operation, for balance. One clinic says it swells more than the upper lip alone.
Filler shapes the lip without surgery and lasts 6 to 18 months, one clinic says. Clinics suggest it for lips that are already thin.
These come up at consultation. Knowing them beforehand makes the conversation shorter and the plan clearer.
Surgery removes tissue for good; filler adds volume and can be dissolved. One clinic says filler should be dissolved before surgery.
Too much leaves the lip too thin. Ask to see the planned shape drawn before surgery.
Doing both costs more and swells more. Ask for the price of each option.
About 14 days
Clinics vary, and your clinician’s plan overrides anything on this page. The shape is consistent.
Send photos of your lips at rest and smiling. One clinic says existing filler should be dissolved before surgery.
Clinics advise stopping vitamins, supplements and aspirin-type drugs for two weeks, and not smoking or drinking alcohol.
Numbing cream, local anaesthetic and a nerve block. One clinic says 45 to 60 minutes, another one to two hours. You go home the same day.
Swelling and tightness are worst in the first three to four days. Eat soft food, use a small spoon or a straw, and keep the wound clean.
At one to two weeks: one clinic says within the first two weeks, another at 14 days.
The lip settles over one to three months.
A clinic name is not a clinician. Ask for the individual, their registration, and how often they do this procedure.
Facility fees, anaesthesia, materials, medication, follow-up appointments and take-home items are often quoted separately.
Including if the clinic reschedules, or if the in-person assessment changes the plan.
Ask for the policy in writing: who pays, within what window, and whether it covers a return trip.
A name, a channel, and an expected response time. Aftercare that ends at the airport is not aftercare.
Clinics that perform this in your city see your enquiry, without your details. Up to three take it and come back to you with real quotes. You decide who — if anyone — you talk to.
