What VelaShape costs in Bangkok
On 3 November 2026 we looked for the VelaShape prices that Bangkok hospitals and clinics publish on their own websites. One hospital publishes them, on its skin treatment price list (updated March 2026). It lists two VelaShape III programmes: V-Contour, priced by the length of the session, and V-Smooth, priced by area, with a price for a course of six sessions:
| Programme | Published prices at the hospital |
|---|---|
| V-Contour | 7,200 baht for 30 minutes, 13,500 baht for one hour, 22,000 baht for two hours and 49,500 baht for five hours, per session. |
| V-Smooth: buttocks or hips (30 minutes) | 5,500 baht a session, or 27,500 baht for six. |
| V-Smooth: back of the thighs and outer thighs (40 minutes) | 6,900 baht a session, or 33,000 baht for six. |
| V-Smooth: back of the thighs and outer thighs (80 minutes) | 11,000 baht a session, or 55,000 baht for six. |
The price list does not say which areas V-Contour covers, how many sessions you need, or how far apart they are; ask at the consultation.
Check who treats you
Only a doctor registered and licensed by the Medical Council of Thailand may practise medicine (Medical Profession Act 1982, section 26). You can check a doctor on the Medical Council's website by searching their first name and surname, in Thai or in English. It lists only licensed doctors. If you find nothing, the Council answers on 02-590-1887.
What to ask before you pay
- Is it V-Contour or V-Smooth, and which area does my price cover?
- How long is each session, and how many sessions do I need?
- How far apart are the sessions, and can I finish a course before I fly home?
- Does a doctor assess me first, and what is their full name?
- Would another treatment suit my aim better?
