What Ultherapy costs in Bangkok, by area
On 2 November 2026 we read the Ultherapy prices that one Bangkok hospital and three Bangkok clinics publish on their own websites. The hospital prices by area. The clinics price by the number of lines of ultrasound, and the doctor decides how many lines each area needs:
| Area | Published prices |
|---|---|
| Around the eyes | 22,000 baht at the hospital for one part, such as the brow or under the eyes, or 33,000 baht for the whole eye area; 26,000 baht for 200 lines at one clinic; 10,000 to 30,000 baht for 100 to 300 lines at another clinic. |
| Cheeks | 55,000 baht at the hospital; 39,000 baht for 300 lines at one clinic. |
| Jawline and chin, or the lower face | 40,000 baht at the hospital for the jawline and chin; 20,000 to 60,000 baht for 200 to 600 lines on the lower face and jawline at another clinic. |
| Neck | 55,000 baht at the hospital; 15,000 to 30,000 baht for 150 to 300 lines at another clinic. |
| Whole face | 94,000 baht at the hospital for the eyes, cheeks, jawline and chin; 91,000 baht for 700 lines at one clinic. |
| Whole face and neck | 149,000 baht at the hospital; 130,000 baht for 1,000 lines at one clinic; 80,000 to 120,000 baht for 800 to 1,200 lines at another clinic. |
Per line, Ulthera Prime, and HIFU
One clinic charges 100 baht a line, from 10,000 baht, and Ulthera Prime from 13,000 baht. Another clinic's prices by lines run from 26,000 baht for 200 lines to 52,000 baht for 400 and 55,000 baht for 500; it says they change with promotions. A third clinic advertises 300 lines with 100 more free for 33,990 baht, as a promotion.
Clinics also sell other focused-ultrasound devices under the name HIFU. One clinic says 400 lines cost 15,000 baht with HIFU against 40,000 baht with Ultherapy, and that with Ultherapy the doctor guides every step on a live ultrasound image. When you compare quotes, ask which device it is and how many lines.
When it works, and how long it lasts
One clinic says the skin may feel tight or swollen at first, the first real changes come at four to six weeks, the result shows at two to three months and peaks at four to six months. It says results usually last 12 to 18 months; another clinic says about a year.
There is little time off. The first clinic says the skin may look pink at first, to skip hard exercise for three to five days, and that one area takes 30 to 45 minutes and the whole face and neck 60 to 90 minutes. It fits a short trip, but the full result takes months, so you will see it at home.
Check who treats you
Only a doctor registered and licensed by the Medical Council of Thailand may practise medicine (Medical Profession Act 1982, section 26). Two of the clinics say a doctor carries out the treatment. Ask for the name of the doctor who will treat you, and check it on the Medical Council's website by searching their first name and surname, in Thai or in English. It lists only licensed doctors. If you find nothing, the Council answers on 02-590-1887.
No one may present themselves as skilled in a field of medicine unless they hold the Medical Council's certificate for it, or one the Council recognises, or meet criteria set in the Council's regulations (section 28).
What to ask before you pay
- Is it Ultherapy, Ulthera Prime, or another HIFU device?
- How many lines will each area get?
- Is the price for the area, or per line?
- Is numbing included?
- What is the doctor's full name?
