What skin brightening costs in Bangkok
On 3 November 2026 we looked for the skin brightening prices that Bangkok hospitals and clinics publish on their own websites. One hospital publishes them, on its skin treatment price list (updated March 2026) and on its RedTouch PRO laser page (updated April 2026). Each course is one laser repeated:
| Course for the face | Published prices |
|---|---|
| Dual laser, facial brightening | 6,600 baht a session, or 28,000 baht for five. |
| Dual laser, brightening and dark or red pigmentation | 9,500 baht a session, or 39,000 baht for five. |
| Aurora, brightening and wrinkles | 9,500 baht a session, or 39,000 baht for five. |
| Picoway pico laser, brightening (toning) | 14,500 baht a session, or 40,500 baht for three. |
| RedTouch PRO laser, brightening and wrinkles | 22,000 baht a session, or 61,000 baht for three; 33,000 baht a session, or 96,000 baht for three, with the neck. |
The hospital also lists armpit whitening with the Aurora device at 5,500 baht a session, or 13,500 baht for three.
What is inside a programme
Programme names are the provider's own, so ask which treatments a course contains and what each costs on its own. The hospital's courses are a single laser repeated. One clinic describes a programme for melasma, freckles and acne marks made of three pico laser sessions, three Pro Yellow laser sessions and one box of Rejuran, but publishes no price for it.
The hospital says the RedTouch PRO laser, made by DEKA in Italy, uses red light at 675 nanometres that reaches the collagen under the skin and also acts on pigment. It says a session takes about 20 minutes, needs no numbing cream and leaves no scabs, and that you can go back to your day straight away.
How many sessions, and afterwards
For the RedTouch PRO laser, the hospital suggests one to three sessions about a month apart for overall brightening, and three to five sessions a month apart for wrinkles, melasma and dark spots. It says the effect usually lasts 6 to 12 months, with a maintenance session every 6 to 12 months.
Afterwards the skin may be more sensitive to the sun; the hospital advises avoiding direct sun and using sunscreen every time you go out.
Before you book
The hospital asks you to see a doctor first, and to say if you are allergic to any medicine or to light, or take medicines that make the skin sensitive to light, such as some acne treatments and antibiotics. For at least three days, ideally a week, before the session, stop products with AHA, retinol or vitamin A. For a week before, avoid scrubs, waxing, hair removal and other lasers, and avoid direct sun for one to two weeks before.
Check who treats you
Only a doctor registered and licensed by the Medical Council of Thailand may practise medicine (Medical Profession Act 1982, section 26). You can check a doctor on the Medical Council's website by searching their first name and surname, in Thai or in English. It lists only licensed doctors. If you find nothing, the Council answers on 02-590-1887.
No one may present themselves as skilled in a field of medicine unless they hold the Medical Council's certificate for it, or one the Council recognises, or meet criteria set in the Council's regulations (section 28). Ask which certificate your doctor holds, and check the name you are given.
What to ask before you pay
- Which treatments are in the course, and what does each cost on its own?
- What kind of pigmentation do I have, and does this course suit it?
- How many sessions, and how far apart?
- What should I use on my skin between sessions, and is it included?
- Does a doctor do the treatment, and what is their full name?
