What pico laser costs in Bangkok
On 2 November 2026 we looked for the pico laser prices that Bangkok hospitals and clinics publish on their own websites. One hospital, which updated its price list in March 2026, and one clinic, which updated its page in August 2026, publish them. Prices are per session; the clinic gives starting prices:

What pico laser does
A pico laser fires pulses lasting trillionths of a second, which break pigment or tattoo ink into fine particles that the body then clears. The clinic describes three ways it is used: across the whole face for melasma, freckles, dark marks and dull skin; through a special lens for acne scars, to prompt new collagen; and at higher power on a small area for deep freckles, birthmarks and tattoos.
The clinic says it works on Thai skin tones, but that darker skin still needs a doctor to set the energy. It says ice-pick acne scars, which are deep and narrow, usually need another treatment as well.
How many sessions
The clinic advises four to six sessions, one to two months apart, for pigmentation and tone, and at least three for acne scars, with deep scars needing four to six. Acne scar results are best judged three to six months after starting. Tattoos need many sessions, because each one breaks up only part of the ink; black and dark blue fade fastest.
Melasma can come back without sun protection, and the clinic warns that treating melasma too often can leave pale spots. Ask for the full plan and the total price before you start.
The session, and afterwards
The clinic puts numbing cream on for 30 to 45 minutes. A face session takes about 30 minutes; the skin may look pink for two to three hours after a tone session, and red for one to three days after an acne scar session, sometimes with tiny scabs that should not be picked.
Use sunscreen of SPF 50 or more and avoid strong sun for one to two weeks, or four weeks after acne scar treatment. Stop retinol and acid skincare for about a week before and after. The clinic advises waiting during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and with open wounds, severe skin inflammation or sensitivity to light.
Check who treats you
Only a doctor registered and licensed by the Medical Council of Thailand may practise medicine (Medical Profession Act 1982, section 26). You can check a doctor on the Medical Council's website by searching their first name and surname, in Thai or in English. It lists only licensed doctors. If you find nothing, the Council answers on 02-590-1887.
