What pec implants cost in Bangkok
On 3 November 2026 we looked for the pectoral implant prices that Bangkok hospitals and clinics publish on their own websites. One hospital publishes 358,000 baht, on its price list (updated October 2026) and on its pectoral implant page (updated August 2026).
The page says the price covers the surgeon, the anaesthesia, the implants, a 3D CT scan and the hospital stay, but not flights or a hotel. Liposuction or fat grafting at the same time is quoted separately. The price table says one night in hospital, while the text elsewhere on the page says two; ask which your quote includes.
The same price list also shows a second line, "Pectoral Implants (M six-pack)", at 250,000 baht with two nights, under breast augmentation. Ask whether that option is available and how it differs.
How the operation is done
A pectoral implant is a solid piece of silicone, not a gel, so it cannot leak or deflate. Under general anaesthesia the surgeon makes a cut in the crease of each armpit, makes a pocket between the two chest muscles, places the implant and closes the cut. It takes one to two hours, and there is no scar on the front of the chest.
The hospital says implants suit men who already train, have a stable weight and a flat, narrow or uneven chest, and men with a sunken breastbone or a chest muscle missing on one side. The two sides can take different implants. Fat transfer is the main alternative: softer and less invasive, but part of the fat is reabsorbed, and lean men may not have enough to move.
Recovery and the gym
Expect the chest to feel tight, sore and stiff for about two weeks; the cuts heal in about two weeks and bruising fades in one to two. You wear a compression garment or chest binder, for up to six weeks if your surgeon asks. Most men go back to desk work within a week, but you should not raise your arms above your head until your surgeon says so.
Chest training and heavy lifting wait about six weeks, because going back early can move an implant before the pocket heals. The final shape shows at three to six months. The hospital says an implant that shifts needs a further operation, and that some men find the result rounder than the flat, square look they wanted, so spend time on the size.
Check the surgeon
Only a doctor registered and licensed by the Medical Council of Thailand may practise medicine (Medical Profession Act 1982, section 26). You can check a doctor on the Medical Council's website by searching their first name and surname, in Thai or in English. It lists only licensed doctors. If you find nothing, the Council answers on 02-590-1887.
No one may present themselves as skilled in a field of medicine unless they hold the Medical Council's certificate for it, or one the Council recognises, or meet criteria set in the Council's regulations (section 28). Ask which certificate your surgeon holds, and check the name you are given.
What to ask before you pay
- One night in hospital or two, and is that in the price?
- Which implant, which size, and can I see it before surgery?
- Is the CT scan included, and the compression garment?
- What does a second operation cost if an implant moves?
- When is the check-up, and when can I fly and train?
- What is the surgeon's full name, and which Medical Council certificate do they hold?
