What dentures cost in Bangkok

On 2 November 2026 we read the denture prices that eight Bangkok dental clinics and one private hospital publish on their own websites.

What you are buyingPublished prices
Full denture, per jaw15,000 to 24,000 baht in acrylic at most clinics; 35,000 to 40,000 baht at one.

Full denture made digitally (CAD/CAM), per jaw45,000 baht at one clinic.
Full denture at a private hospital, per jaw26,200 to 45,000 baht.
Partial denture in acrylic1,700 to 3,500 baht for the base, plus 400 to 500 baht a tooth; at one clinic, 7,500 baht for the first tooth and 1,500 for each one after.

Flexible partial denture, such as Valplast5,000 to 11,000 baht.
Partial denture at a private hospital10,000 to 21,000 baht.

Several clinics price a partial denture by its base and then add a fee for each tooth on it, so ask for the total for your teeth. Two clinics give one price for any removable denture: 10,000 to 30,000 baht and 18,000 to 25,000 baht a piece. None of the lists we read gives an end date except the hospital's, which is valid until 31 December 2026. One clinic takes 10% off dentures for payment in cash or by transfer.

Dentures held by implants

An overdenture is a removable denture that clips onto implants in the jaw. Two clinics publish prices per jaw:

Implants in the jawPublished prices
Two implants70,000 to 200,000 baht.
Four implants135,000 to 360,000 baht.

Prices rise with the implant brand. One clinic's price includes the implants, the denture, the attachments and a CT scan, but not a bone graft, which it prices at 10,000 to 50,000 baht where needed. Teeth fixed on four or six implants, which you do not take out, are covered in our dental implant guide.

What the price may leave out

  • the consultation and X-rays, if the clinic charges them separately;
  • taking out any teeth that cannot stay;
  • metal or tooth-coloured clasps on a partial denture: 150 to 1,000 baht each at the clinics that list them;
  • adding a tooth later: 400 to 800 baht a tooth;
  • repairs: 1,000 to 2,000 baht at one clinic, plus 500 baht for each tooth replaced.

How long you need in Bangkok

A denture is made in a laboratory from impressions of your mouth. One clinic gives two to four visits, for impressions, a try-in and fitting, and a minimum of seven to ten days in Bangkok.

If teeth have to come out first, ask how long the gums need to heal before the denture is made, and whether the clinic offers a temporary denture in the meantime. Allow time after the fitting for the dentist to adjust any spots that rub.

Check the dentist

Only a dentist registered and licensed by the Dental Council of Thailand may practise dentistry (Dental Profession Act 1994, section 28). You can check a licence on the Dental Council's website by searching the dentist's first name and surname in Thai. If you find nothing, the Council answers on 02-580-7500 to 7503.

A dentist may only present themselves as skilled in a specialty if they hold the Dental Council's certificate for it, or one the Council recognises (section 30). Prosthodontics, the specialty for dentures, crowns and bridges, is one of the twelve the Council certifies. Under the Council's 2014 guideline on advertising, a dentist without the certificate may not call themselves a specialist.

Under the patients' rights the Dental Council publishes, you may ask the name of the dentist treating you, get enough information to decide, including the cost, and ask another dentist for a second opinion.

What to ask before you pay

  • Which base: acrylic, metal or flexible, and why for my mouth?
  • What is the total for all my teeth, including clasps?
  • Do any teeth need to come out first, and what does that cost?
  • How many visits, and how many days in Bangkok?
  • Are adjustments after the fitting included?
  • What is the dentist's full name in Thai, and do they hold the prosthodontics certificate?
