What a breast lift and a reduction cost in Bangkok
On 2 November 2026 we looked for the breast lift and reduction prices that Bangkok hospitals and clinics publish on their own websites. Only one hospital and one clinic publish them; the hospital updated its pages in July 2026, and the clinic gives starting prices:

What the price covers
The hospital's prices include the stated nights, and its reduction is done under general anaesthesia given by a board-certified anaesthesiologist. It says flights and a hotel beyond the stay are not included, and that the final price is confirmed after the consultation. Ask whether yours covers:
- the anaesthesia and the anaesthetist;
- the nights in hospital;
- the support bra;
- medicine, taking out the stitches and follow-up visits;
- an implant, if you want a lift and an implant together.
How long to stay, and recovery
The hospital says a lift takes two to three hours under general anaesthesia, with one or two nights in hospital, and a check-up 7 to 10 days later before you fly home. After a reduction, stitches come out at about one to two weeks, though some dissolve on their own.
It advises a support bra around the clock for 21 days after a lift, and a surgical bra for a couple of weeks after a reduction. Most people go back to work after about 10 days for a lift and two weeks for a reduction. Avoid heavy lifting and straining for three to four weeks.
Check the surgeon
Only a doctor registered and licensed by the Medical Council of Thailand may practise medicine (Medical Profession Act 1982, section 26). You can check a doctor on the Medical Council's website by searching their first name and surname, in Thai or in English. It lists only licensed doctors. If you find nothing, the Council answers on 02-590-1887.
No one may present themselves as skilled in a field of medicine unless they hold the Medical Council's certificate for it, or one the Council recognises, or meet criteria set in the Council's regulations (section 28). Ask which certificate your surgeon holds, and check the name you are given.
What to ask before you pay
- Which technique and which scar do I need?
- Is the anaesthetist included, and how many nights in hospital?
- Are the bra, medicine and stitch removal included?
- When is the check-up, and when can I fly?
- What does a revision cost if I need one?
- What is the surgeon's full name, and which Medical Council certificate do they hold?
